prAna Whipsaw Messenger Bag

If your primary source of transportation is a bicycle, you can pretty much live out of this bag (it’s huge – 19 x 15 x 6 inches). There are a dozen pockets in the prAna Whipsaw, including a spacious main compartment with a separate section for your laptop. Most of the bag is accessible via Velcro for quick access with a few zippered compartments for security. On the outside, you’ve got a couple of cell-phone-sized pockets, a zip pocket and plenty of gear loops to allow you to clip on a flashing rear safety light. The shoulder strap is padded and the bag looks good enough for work casual. Best of all, all colors (oatmeal, dark olive, espresso) are “green” – prAna makes these bags from 100 percent recycled polyester.

Downside: It is water resistant, but should be waterproof
